Designed in Bali, Indonesia, a favorite and sacred destination for designer Natalie De-Banco, “Lost in Paradise” reflects the dichotomy of this incredible island, home to the indigenous Hongana Manyawa tribe, one of the world’s last nomadic people. The collection shines a light on the devastation the island is suffering due to nickel mining operations.Bali embodies the adventure, peace, and harmony that are integral parts of the Bronx and Banco lifestyle. Each style in the collection represents an offering to the gods in the tradition of the Balinese people who ask for their gods to protect the people of the earth and nurture the land itself. The dramatic floral embellishments, hooded gowns, and vibrant colors perfectly reflect the exotic environment of the Southeast Asian locale. The people and culture of this idyllic island serves as a constant source of inspiration to De-Banco and she returns frequently to convene with nature and recharge her creativity.

Aristocratic, Opulent, Over the top, Natalie De-Banco showcased her unique take on the bohemian lifestyle in her collection, “La Boheme,” which debuted during New York Fashion Week at The Ritz Carlton NoMad. Rather than follow trends, the designer set out to create museum worthy pieces emboldened with artistic touches. Showcasing her inner diva, De-Banco used diamonds, pearls and mixed metals to celebrate the beauty and strength of individuality. The groundbreaking presentation was a marked departure from her previous collection. While it hailed a new direction for the collection, it still stayed true to the brand’s DNA. It was only appropriate that the collection be shown 500 feet above ground in a room with 270-degree views of Manhattan, the city that never sleeps. The models and guests alike reached for the stars while imbibing signature cocktails at Nubeluz by José Andrés, the Martin Brudenski designed jewel box in the sky. The small collection of 26 looks spoke volumes about De-Banco’s talent and knack for reinvention.
